One of the 1997 North Hollywood robbers, Larry Phillips Jr, had a VHS collection and within those videos was a classic movie called HEAT. This t-shirt is inspired by the raid scene on the armored truck in HEAT, which also appears to have inspired Larry & Emil for their first heists which involved armored cash delivery trucks.
